From February 24 to 25, 2025, the CamDHRRA successfully organized a Training of Trainers (ToT) on Smallholder Economic Empowerment through Digital Solutions (SEEDS) at Sunway Hotel, Phnom Penh. This training aimed to enhance the capacity of trainers who will further support smallholder farmers in leveraging digital tools to improve their economic opportunities.
\nObjectives of the Training
\nThe ToT was designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to:
\n\u2705 Strengthen digital literacy and marketing skills among target farmers, enabling them to access new markets and improve their agribusinesses.
\n\u2705 Facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building, fostering collaboration and peer learning among trainers and farmers.
\n\u2705 Develop strategic training plans that align with the overarching goals of the SEEDS project, ensuring effective implementation at the community level.
\nThe interactive sessions featured hands-on digital tool demonstrations, group discussions, and experience-sharing among participants, providing a practical and engaging learning environment. Trainers also explored innovative approaches to digitally-driven agricultural solutions, which will be further cascaded to farmer groups in target communities.
\nWe extend our sincere appreciation to all participants for their active engagement and commitment, which contributed to the success of this training. Their dedication ensures that smallholder farmers will benefit from enhanced digital skills and greater economic empowerment through the SEEDS initiative.
