\"MayFrom 28\u201330 October 2025, CamboDHRRA, in collaboration with Action for Development (AFD) in Kampong Thom Province and under the project \u201cFarmer-Led Innovative Research for Sustainable Transformation of Agriculture and Food Systems (FIRST)\u201d<\/em>, organized a Training of Trainers on Participatory Action Research (PAR) in Agroecology (AE) and Facilitation Skills. The training took place in Salavisai Commune, Prasat Balaing District, Kampong Thom Province.<\/p>\n

A total of 23 participants\u2014including 15 women\u2014joined the course, all eager to strengthen their skills and contribute to positive transformation in their communities.<\/p>\n

The training combined essential theory with hands-on practice, enabling participants to apply new knowledge directly:<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf3f Deepened understanding of the 13 Agroecology (AE) principles<\/strong> to promote resilient and diversified farming systems.
\ud83d\udd0d Practical exercises using the PAR cycle<\/strong>, empowering farmers to act as researchers and develop solutions to their own challenges.
\ud83d\udde3\ufe0f Enhanced facilitation skills for youth and women<\/strong>, equipping them to lead discussions, motivate community members, and foster collective action.<\/p>\n
