On 26 June 2025, CamboDHRRA, under the MRLG Phase 3 framework, was proud to support and participate in the National Consultation Workshop on ASEAN Policy Guidelines on Agroecology Transitions in Cambodia, held at the Royal University of Agriculture in Phnom Penh.
Organized under the Agroecology Learning Alliance in Southeast Asia (ALiSEA) and with the collaboration of LICA, CASIC and CamboDHRRA, the workshop aimed to raise awareness of the newly developed ASEAN Guidelines on Agroecology Transitions, identify national priorities and gaps, and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
The event brought together over 60 key actors including representatives from farmer organizations, civil society organizations, government institutions, academia, private sector partners, and ALiSEA members to delve into seven crucial leverage points for agroecology transitions:

Participants engaged in interactive group discussions to reflect on Cambodia’s existing initiatives, gaps, and opportunities to scale up agroecological practices that support food sovereignty, biodiversity conservation, and climate resilience.
CamboDHRRA reaffirms its commitment to supporting inclusive and farmer-led agroecological transitions that are rooted in local realities and aligned with regional and global frameworks.
A big thank you to all partners, including ALiSEA, LICA, CASIC, and the Royal University of Agriculture for hosting this timely and impactful dialogue.
