Call for Consultant: Documentation of Agroecology Best Practices

CamboDHRRA, in collaboration with Action for Development Organization (AFD), is pleased to invite qualified consultants to apply for an assignment to document agroecology best practices under the project:
“Farmer-Led Innovative Research for Sustainable Transformation of Agroecology and Food Systems (FIRST)” in Kampong Thom Province.
Purpose of the Assignment
The consultant will:
• Document best practices and success stories from experimental farmers
• Analyze key lessons and success factors from farmer-led innovations
• Develop an evidence-based policy brief to inform agroecology-related policies and programs in Cambodia

Scope of Work
The selected consultant will:
• Conduct field data collection (KIIs, FGDs, observation)
• Develop 4–6 case studies of agroecological practices
• Analyze findings and produce a policy brief
• Present findings in a validation workshop
• Finalize all documentation and reports

Expected Deliverables
• Inception Report
• Case Studies (4–6)
• Draft & Final Report
• Policy Brief
• Validation Workshop Presentation

Duration
• 15–20 working days over 2 to 2.5 months

Duty Station
• Fieldwork in Kampong Thom Province
• Home-based desk work

Required Qualifications
• Degree in Agriculture, Agroecology, Rural Development, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in research, documentation, and policy analysis
• Strong knowledge of agroecology and participatory approaches
• Experience working with farmers and rural communities
• Excellent writing skills in English (Khmer is an asset)
