Cambodhrra Cambodian Partnership for Development Human Resource in Rural Area Association
On 27 October 2021 CamboDHRRA organized meeting on Responsible Agriculture Investment (RAI) core group and stakeholders at hotel Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh with 15 participants (03 women) who are representatives of Government (Department of Agro-Industry, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery), farmer organizations, civil society organization and private companies. The meeting organized in the objectives of:
– Sharing results and reflect on the past project implementation
– Sharing and reviewing policy recommendations to promote youth participation and benefit from responsible agricultural investment.
– Sharing plans to implement ongoing projects
It’s important to note that CamboDHRRA has been implementing the project namely “Promoting youth and women participate and benefit from responsible agriculture investment” under a Letter of Agreement (LoA) between the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Asian Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas (AsiaDHRRA) entitled “Supporting Responsible Investment in Agriculture and Food Systems in ASEAN countries with a focus on youth and gender equality”. The first LoA covers from December 21, 2020 to December 31, 2021 and second LoA from September 2021 to December 2022.
