CamboDHRRA Working Group on Agricultural Cooperative Development held its quarterly meeting

On April 28, 2023, CamboDHRRA facilitated the first meeting for 2023 for the Working Group on Agricultural Cooperative Development (WG_ACD) held through Zoom, with the participation of WVI, LWD, FNN, IIRR, AFD, FWN, FCFD, Drone Khmer Technology, KPY and the Cambodian Agricultural Cooperative Alliance (CACA), who are institutions supporting agricultural cooperative across the country.
The meeting organized in aiming at to discuss the curriculum for providing capacity development to ACs with recognition, to consult the draft book keeping system for Acs and to discuss the rapid assessment of Agricultural Cooperative Business Forum (ACBF) 2022.
The meeting concluded by gaining fruitful results and setting up clear joint action plan for 2023.
It is noted that since May 2020, CamboDHRRA has been hosted Working Group on Agricultural Cooperative Development. This working group was established in aiming at to share good practice and lesson learnt of AC management and business operation, to identify knowledge gaps and research priorities to inform the design of more effective agricultural cooperative development interventions, and to connect and seek for support from relevant stakeholders (government, private sector, Bank/MFI, donor agencies and development partners).
