From 1–5 December 2025, CamboDHRRA joined partners from WFP, CACC, DPA, PDAFF, and local authorities to carry out a comprehensive review of the “Building Back Better: Organic Agriculture for Smallholder Farmers in Northern Cambodia” project under the GAFSP Civil Society Partnership.
Throughout the mission in Koh Nhek and Sen Monorom, our team:
- Conducted Community Score Card (CSC) sessions with men, women, and mixed groups to gather community feedback and action points.
- Organized Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) with agricultural cooperative leaders, internal inspectors, commune authorities, PDAFF officers, and project partners.
- Documented success stories, case studies, and real-life experiences of farmers involved in organic rice, climate-resilient agriculture, and improved farming practices.
- Captured video testimonies, high-quality photos, and b-roll footage for an upcoming short documentary showcasing project impact.
- Observed SBCC sessions, organic farming methods, post-harvest practices, traditional harvesting, and technologies used by farmers.
This field mission helps ensure that community voices, lessons learned, and local innovations are well-documented to strengthen future programming.
CamboDHRRA remains committed to supporting smallholder farmers, promoting sustainable agriculture, and building resilient agri-food systems for Cambodia.
