General Assembly (GA)
The network’s directions and operations are guided by active leadership in collaboration with the Secretariat. The General Assembly (GA) serves as the highest decision-making body of the network. Convening annually, the GA’s primary function is to establish the network’s strategies and directions, ensuring alignment with its mission and vision.
Board of Directors
Between assemblies, governance is overseen by the Board of Directors. This governing body consists of five members representing NGOs, INGOs, farmer organizations, and the private sector. The Board conducts regular quarterly meetings to monitor CamboDHRRA’s performance, evaluate progress, and provide strategic advice to enhance the organization’s operations and impact.
The Secretariat
The Secretariat, led by the Secretary-General, serves as the operational and administrative arm of CamboDHRRA, ensuring the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness in achieving its mission. As the executing body, it implements the policies, strategies, and decisions made by the General Assembly and the Board of Directors, translating their vision into actionable plans. To maintain seamless coordination, the Secretariat facilitates communication and collaboration among network members, stakeholders, and partners, creating a cohesive and supportive environment.
In addition to its coordination role, the Secretariat oversees daily operations, including financial management, reporting, and logistical support, which are critical for maintaining organizational stability. It also provides technical and advisory assistance to guide program implementation, ensuring that initiatives align with the organization’s strategic goals. Through robust monitoring and evaluation, the Secretariat tracks project progress, measures outcomes, and identifies solutions to challenges, reinforcing accountability and continuous improvement.
Furthermore, the Secretariat represents CamboDHRRA in engagements with external partners, stakeholders, and donors, strengthening the organization’s visibility and fostering strategic relationships. Together, these interconnected responsibilities enable the Secretariat to drive CamboDHRRA’s efforts toward sustainable agricultural and rural development.
