CamboDHRRA Hosts Agribusiness Partnership Meeting with Agricultural Cooperative Support Working Group

On August 16, 2024, CamboDHRRA organized a productive Agribusiness Partnership Meeting with the Agricultural Cooperative Support Working Group at Sunway Hotel in Phnom Penh. The meeting focused on key objectives that are crucial for the advancement of agribusiness partnerships in Cambodia.
Key Objectives:
1. Reviewing Progress and Activities: Review the minutes and activities from the previous meeting, ensuring continuity and accountability in ongoing initiatives.
2. Updates on Partnerships and Projects: Provide a comprehensive update on agro-industrial business partnerships and ongoing projects, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of the latest developments.
3. Planning for Future Events: Detail discussions on the upcoming Agricultural Cooperative Business Forum (ACBF)
The meeting resulted in significant contributions and the identification of joint venture opportunities among agribusiness partners. Notably, the discussions highlighted successful joint ventures and included valuable input from the Department of Agri-Industry, the Women in Agribusiness Network, and the Union of Battambang Agriculture Cooperative. In preparation for the 2024 Agricultural Cooperative Business Forum, the meeting facilitated an in-depth dialogue on the forum’s theme, gathering extensive feedback from participants. Additionally, we appreciate the participation of the Promoting Climate-resilient Livelihoods in Rice-based Communities in the Tonle Sap Basin (PCRL) MAFF/GDA & MOE/GDLC, who expressed their interest in collaborating with the working group.
