CamboDHRRA is pleased to share that Mr. Him Noeun, Secretary General, and Mr. Mom Chantha, participated in the Australia Awards Fellowship Program on “Supporting Mekong’s Transboundary Agri-Water NGO Professionals to Enhance Rural Community Climate-Change Resilience,” held in Adelaide, South Australia, from 4–23 May 2026.
The fellowship brought together professionals from across the Mekong region to exchange knowledge and practical experiences on climate-smart agriculture, water governance, irrigation efficiency, participatory extension, climate-risk management, and community resilience. Through a combination of expert-led sessions, field visits, and peer learning, participants explored innovative approaches that can strengthen sustainable agricultural development and climate adaptation in the Mekong region.
The knowledge and experiences gained through this fellowship will contribute to CamboDHRRA’s ongoing efforts to promote climate-resilient agriculture, sustainable water management, agroecological approaches, and inclusive rural development for farming communities in Cambodia.
CamboDHRRA sincerely thanks the Australian Government through the Australia Awards Fellowship Program for this valuable learning opportunity. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to International Agriculture for Development (IAFD), Dr. Jay Cummins, and all resource persons and partner institutions for their excellent facilitation, knowledge sharing, and support throughout the program.
Together, we can strengthen regional collaboration and build more resilient, sustainable, and inclusive agri-food systems across the Mekong region.
