On 23 -24 April 2026, Mr. Him Noeun, Secretary General of CamboDHRRA, and Mrs. Rith Chantha, Chairwoman of Toeukhout Meanchey Kdey Sangkhoem Agricultural Cooperative, in the SEEDS Regional Digital Symposium 2026 and learning visit held in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
The symposium brought together representatives from farmers’ organizations, government institutions, development partners, and private sector stakeholders across Asia to exchange knowledge and explore innovative digital solutions for more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable agriculture. It also provided an important platform for dialogue on strengthening partnerships and scaling up smart farming initiatives in the region.
During the symposium, Mr. Him Noeun presented the results and key learnings of the SEEDS Project, showcasing achievements in empowering smallholder farmers through digital tools, improved market access, capacity building, and stronger farmer organizations. His presentation also highlighted the importance of collaboration among stakeholders to accelerate agricultural transformation and improve rural livelihoods.
As part of the learning visit, participants had the opportunity to observe Korea’s advanced smart farming technologies and innovative agricultural management practices, gaining valuable insights that can contribute to future agricultural development initiatives in Cambodia.
Their participation reflects CamboDHRRA’s continued commitment to promoting digital agriculture, empowering rural communities, and strengthening regional cooperation for sustainable development.
