A study on high value crops with export potential as part of the Government drive to diversify Cambodian agriculture, conducted by CAVAC. This study started by looking at the demand side in key markets. After applying a set of filters, nine crops/products were selected as having the best prospects for future development and export.
These potential agricultural products include mangoes, Pailin longan, cashews, sweet potatoes, peppers, avocados, sesame seeds, dried bananas and palm sugar.
It’s noted that some of these products are being exported to overseas markets.
