Cambodian Partnership for the Development of Human Resource in Rural Areas Association (CamboDHRRA) is a national multi-stakeholder network that mobilizes agriculture-related institutions and people to work together to improve agriculture production and market linkages that benefit farmers and their communities.

Project Name: Strengthening multi-actor partnerships in Cambodia to promote sustainable value chains for natural rubber
Job Title: Project Officer (PrO)
No. of Vacancy: 1 (one)
Contract Period: 12 months (renewable)
Nationality: Cambodian
Education Background: Bachelor’s degree
Language Skills: Khmer and English
Computer Literacy: Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Email etc.
Duty Station: Tbong Khmum province
Main Responsibilities
– Facilitate and undertake activities of the project,
– Provide direct capacity building and management support to agricultural cooperatives, rubber farmer groups, farmers leaders,
– Support smallholder rubber farmer groups and cooperatives to access markets, capital and quality agricultural inputs,
– Conduct mentoring and follow up smallholder rubber farmers in applying Good Agriculture Practices (GAP), agroforestry and other livelihood activities,
– Support organizing activities, workshops, trainings and seminars,
– Facilitate data gathering for project design, monitoring and evaluation,
– Prepare progress and financial report for own responsible project area,
– Maintain good relationship with local stakeholders in own target area,
Qualifications and competencies
• University degree in business administration, agriculture, preferably in rubber sector or relevance
• At least two (2) years of professional work experience in agriculture sector in Cambodia, rubber is preferred
• Strong facilitation experiences in mobilizing smallholder famers
• Know-how of field activities and challenges on the grass-roots level is required
• Knowledgeable of the project target areas is strongly required
• Strong self-disciplines (have the end in mind, sound personal development skills and positive mental attitudes and inspire other to achieve intended goals and objectives of the project)
• Good in English
• Be proactive and creative
• Be a team player and act as a role model focusing on 4Es (Effectiveness, Efficiency, Ethics and Environment)
• Resident of the target provinces is preferred
Other activities
Undertake other duties (within individual competence and capacities) necessary to support the activities of CamboDHRRA, as and when required by Program Officer and/or Secretary General.
