Cambodhrra Cambodian Partnership for Development Human Resource in Rural Area Association
AsiaDHRRA’s work in Cambodia began in early 2000, with ACLEDA before they became a bank, having participated in the early AsiaDHRRA human resource development activities in the region. Then AsiaDHRRA explored working with the Cambodian NGO Network Association (CNAC) that introduced FliFly, a local NGO that allowed AsiaDHRRA to support grassroot communities in their production and marketing efforts. Eventually, AsiaDHRRA worked with the The Cambodian Center for Study and Development in Agriculture (CEDAC), who was then in the process of supporting the Farmers and Nature Net (FNN), allowed opportunity to implement the linking small farmers to market initiative of AsiaDHRRA. The succeeding work of AsiaDHRRA under the Farmers’ Fighting Poverty (FFP) programming was done directly with the FNN. CamboDHRRA, formally founded in 2017 by the Farmer and Nature Net Association (FNN) with Asia DHRRA’s support, helps smallholder farmers and promotes rural development in Cambodia. It connects them to markets, encourages public-private partnerships, and boosts regional collaboration. Initially, it engaged civil society organizations, farmer groups, and the private sector to enhance agricultural progress and dialogue with government ministries.
